Neymar Jr. was injured again after being out for a year. The Brazilian left Al-Hilal-Esteghlal due to discomfort in his left leg
Injuries continue to give Neymar Jr. no respite. The Brazilian star returned to the pitch a couple of weeks ago after recovering from the torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee that kept him off the pitch for almost a year. However, he was barely able to feel like a footballer before his physical condition played a trick on him again.
And in the second match he played after returning to the Al-Hilal first team, the '10' was injured again. The player only lasted 29 minutes before taking his hand to the back of his left leg. The forward was unable to continue on the pitch in his team's victory against Esteghlal (3-0) and everything indicates that he suffered a new muscular setback.
A tough blow for Neymar, Al-Hilal and Brazil
With his length of absence yet to be known, both Al-Hilal and the Brazilian national team are clutching their heads as they will lose a player who, in his best form, is the best of both teams. Since his signing for the Saudi team, Neymar Jr. has only been able to play 7 official matches, while the green and yellow were waiting for him for the last FIFA date of the year. Now, the South American will have to go back to the infirmary.
