Calendar of FC Barcelona

The Dubai Sports Council revealed this Thursday all the players and players nominated for the next edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, which since 2010 have been known as the 'Dubai D'Or', in reference to the Ballon d'Or awarded by 'France Football'.

For FC Barcelona, there will be a total of ten nominated footballers (four from the men's first team and six from the Women's team), the latter being the club with the greatest representation after winning the treble last season.

For the men's team, Dani Olmo, Pau Cubarsí, Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski are nominated, while, for the Barça Women, Aitana Bonmatí, Carolina Graham Hansen, Patricia Guijarro, Ewa Pajor, Salma Paralluelo and Alexia Putellas appear. Britain's Lucy Bronze, who left for Chelsea last summer, was also nominated.

Lamine Yamal appears in three categories of the Globe Soccer Awards

Of the nominated culés, the only player from the men's first team who appears nominated in three different categories is Lamine Yamal. The one from Mataró aspires to the best striker of the year along with Vinicius Jr., Erling Haaland, Artem Dovbyk, Harry Kane, Phil Foden, Lautaro Martínez, Kylian Mbappé, Mohamed Salah and Nico Williams.

Furthermore, the '19' culé is also nominated for best footballer of the year, a category in which Dani Olmo and Robert Lewandowski also appear. Curiously, the Pole is not among the best forwards despite his excellent numbers in recent months. On the other hand, Dani is registered in the category of best midfielder.

Lamine, in fact, was already awarded in the European edition of the Dubai D'Or as best emerging player, a category where on this occasion he appears again alongside Pau Cubarsí. The rest of the nominees for the main award (best player) of the Globe Soccer are:
