OFFICIAL: RFEF reveals the venue and schedule for the Spanish Super Cup 2025

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has used its various social media channels to reveal information on how the 2025 Spanish Super Cup will be held, where the Real Madrid as the champion of the LaLiga EA Sports 2023-24, FC Barcelona as the second-place finisher in the league that season, Athletic Club as the winner of the 2023-24 Copa del Rey, and RCD Mallorca as the runner-up in that cup competition will participate.

As a noteworthy detail for this edition of the 2025 Spanish Super Cup, the matches will take place at a new venue. It's worth remembering that for the last three years, the tournament has been held in Riyadh. However, this time, the venue will be Jeddah, at the King Abdullah Sport City KASC Stadium 'AlJawhara', home of Ittihad FC of Karim Benzema. It's important to note that this venue is not new to the competition, as the 2020 edition was also held there.

2025 Spanish Super Cup Schedule

Regarding the schedule, the competition will kick off on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:00 PM with a match between the current champion, Real Madrid, and RCD Mallorca. Subsequently, on Thursday, January 9, it is expected that the current Copa del Rey champion, Athletic Club, will face FC Barcelona, also at 10:00 PM.
