Hansi Flick has confirmed the list with the 28 players summoned for the 2025 Spanish Super Cup
FC Barcelona has officially announced the list of 28 players called up for the Spanish Super Cup, which will have their first match in the quest for a spot in the final on Wednesday, January 8 against Athletic Club. It is worth noting that if the blue and red club emerges victorious in the duel against the 'lions', they would have to face the winner between Real Madrid and RCD Mallorca on January 12, who will clash on Thursday, January 9 to determine the other finalist.
For this encounter, the culé expedition heading to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) is composed of a significant number of assets, among which it is positively highlighted that almost all team players will travel. Surprisingly, the name of Marc Bernal can be seen on the list, who, despite not having any chance to play minutes as he is still recovering from a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and an associated injury to the external meniscus, wanted to be part of the group.

With the exception of Marc-André ter Stegen, all other players from Barcelona, whether they have the opportunity to play or not, have joined this expedition. At this point, the presence of players like Ferran Torres, Andreas Christensen, Héctor Fort and Lamine Yamal stands out, who, although they have not yet received their medical clearance, it would not be surprising if they obtained it in the coming days, as they have actively participated in the recent group training sessions.
It remains to be seen whether Barcelona will ultimately be able to re-enroll Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, and thus be able to count on them for this match. The blue and red club is waiting to obtain the CSD's interim measure.
