The Japanese company Konami presented the latest edition of 'e-football', one of its most popular video games that, since 2021, can be played for free on the latest generation of consoles and computers. This year, e-football wanted to do something special and managed to bring together none other than the legendary attacking trident of FC Barcelona between 2014 and 2017.

Leo Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar Jr. met to record the official announcement of the new version of the football game. In the video, 'La Pulga' and 'Lucho' (both live in Miami) appear playing an online game with 'Ney' (still injured in Saudi Arabia).

The most striking thing about the promotional video is that the three players play themselves while wearing the Barça shirt. The game allows you to use the main football legends with their different teams and, in the case of 'MSN', it is possible to choose the Barça squad that reigned in Europe a decade ago.

Konami brings together the best offensive trident in history

Messi and Neymar were already ambassadors of e-football and, this year, Suárez have joined them. The video game changed its name worldwide in 2021, after becoming popular as Pro Evolution Soccer in the West (Winning Eleven in Japan). A few months ago there was speculation about the possible reunion of the three forwards at Inter Miami, a rumour that quickly disappeared.

Ney relapsed from his physical problems at the beginning of November with Al Hilal and everything points to him returning to Brazil in 2025 with Santos. Leo and Luis, meanwhile, will continue at Inter Miami, a club that is looking for a coach after the resignation of 'Tata' Martino.

In Barcelona, MSN scored a total of 363 goals in the 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons. In the first of these, the Catalans managed to win the treble, while in their second year they repeated the Liga and Copa del Rey titles, a tournament they would win again in 2017. In the summer of that year, the Mogi das Cruzes native left for Paris Saint-Germain.
