Barça has obtained the formula to pay the 100 million euros unpaid for Libero. Nike, Spotify and Aramark, three sponsors of the club, will take charge of the debt and allow the Catalans to return to the 1/1 rule
FC Barcelona is getting closer to signing again normally. The Barça entity has reached an agreement with one of the club's sponsors so that it will take charge of the 40 million euros unpaid by Libero last October for the 10% of Barça Studios that he acquired. The agreement will be signed this Tuesday, August 6 and will leave the Blaugranas just one step away from being able to return to the 1/1 rule.
This has been reported by 'Què T'hi Jugues' from the 'Cadena Ser', where, in addition, they assured that the total amount of Libero's pending payments amounts to 100 'kilos'. However, the deposit will be made in installments, with Barça immediately receiving the 40 million that will allow it to get closer to the 1/1 rule to be able to move in the transfer market with total normality.
The three 'saviors' of the Catalan institution in this operation are Nike, Spotify and Aramark (the company in charge of serving the catering in the future Spotify Camp Nou). One of these sponsors will be in charge of signing the agreement this Tuesday and it will be announced next Wednesday, once the Barça expedition, of which several managers are part, lands in Barcelona after completing the tour of the United States.
The distribution of the final amount
The remaining 60 million euros will be distributed among the other sponsors, thus covering the 100 'kilos' unpaid by Libero. According to 'SPORT', the Catalan club could enter this figure in the coming days, even before the transfer market ends. However, at Can Barça there is not such a rush to reach this amount, since the budget for this 2024-25 financial year will not be closed until the last days of August to be presented later to the Assembly of Committers, which is scheduled for month of October, so there is room to act.
