Lamine Yamal was the star guest of 'El Hormiguero', an Antena 3 programme presented by Pablo Motos, and he left no one indifferent with his statements about Nico Williams. The great figure of FC Barcelona revealed details about the friendship that unites him with the Athletic Club footballer, assuring that "we like the same things, we watch Tik Tok, we dance, he likes the same music, he does silly things...".

On the pitch, both footballers have shown that they get along perfectly, forming a lethal duo for any rival. However, this relationship went beyond the playing fields. "We watch the dances on Tik Tok and if I'm in the national team I pass them on to Nico and at Barça to Balde and Raphinha," he commented. Although he later stated that he did not know if the Navarrese will wear the Barça shirt next season, the Rocafonda native dropped a 'bomb' that has not gone unnoticed by the culés when asked if he would like Nico to sign for Barça.

"Of course he would, but he is at Athletic now. I would like to play every week with him, hopefully, but he is now at Athletic."

These words from Lamine come just after LaLiga made public the increase in the Catalan institution's salary limit. The Blaugranas doubled their margin, going from 204 million euros last season to 426 million this year. A figure that, together with the contract renewal agreement with Nike, balances the club's accounts and would allow them to go for the youngest of the Williams in the summer of 2025. An operation in which Yamal, almost certainly, will act as an 'agent' to play alongside his great friend.
