The Paris Saint-Germain board is trying to resolve the departure of Randal Kolo Muani as soon as possible. The forward is not part of Luis Enrique's plans, and the club is looking to negotiate his transfer to FC Barcelona next summer

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Randal Kolo Muani has become a serious problem for Paris Saint-Germain. The 26-year-old forward has failed to adapt to Luis Enrique's scheme and, following Kylian Mbappé's departure, has taken on a secondary role in the Asturian coach's plans. He has barely accumulated 453 minutes of action spread over 14 matches (2 goals and 1 assist), statistics far from what PSG expected from a player who cost 95 million euros.

The operation has been disastrous for PSG, as the market value of the forward has plummeted to 30 'kilos', almost a third of what the club paid Eintracht Frankfurt for his transfer. In that sense, the Parisian team prioritizes a loan exit that allows the player to regain confidence and part of the valuation he reached in the summer of 2023 (80M€).

Looking ahead to the summer, FC Barcelona could be a good alternative for Kolo Muani. The Blaugrana team plans to go for a left winger and a '9' in the upcoming summer market, two positions that the Bondy native can occupy without problems. In principle, Paris would accept an amount close to 40 'kilos' for the French international, as long as he manages to raise his level in the second half of the season.

The Premier League, another escape route for Kolo Muani

Regarding the winter market, the English newspaper 'Evening Standard' points out Arsenal's interest in Randal. Mikel Arteta has requested a couple of reinforcements in January to improve the 'Gunners' offensive production, and the '23' from PSG would have the Spanish coach's approval, provided his arrival is finalized through a simple loan. The Frenchman is under contract until 2028, and his departure will not be easy due to the high value of his contract. As for the salary, the player earns around 12.7 million euros net per season.
