The long-awaited message from Pablo Páez Gavira, Gavi, about the results of the Ballon d'Or gala did not disappoint his followers on social networks. The FC Barcelona midfielder shared through Instagram stories his congratulatory messages to Lamine Yamal and Rodrigo Hernández, both awarded during the 'France Football' gala.
"More than deserved brother," wrote the Andalusian to congratulate Lamine for winning the Kopa Trophy for the best youth player in the world. The '6' shared a nice illustration in which he and Yamal appear next to Pedri, each one posing with the award that both Gavi and the Tenerife native won in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
For his part, the one from Los Palacios and Villafranca also congratulated Rodri for winning the Ballon d'Or, an award that only one Spanish footballer in history had won (Luis Suárez Miramontes, in 1960). "Congratulations friend, well deserved!" wrote the Barça midfielder to his teammate on the Spanish national team.
Gavi's messages come after his controversy with Vinicius Jr. during the Classic. The Andalusian had a spicy exchange with the '7' in which the Barça player pointed out the four for the goals scored by Barça, while the Brazilian brought out his Champions titles and added a phrase that ended up being the stuff of memes . "I'm going for the Ballon d'Or," Vini concluded. Well, the one from Rio de Janeiro was left empty-handed, causing Real Madrid to reject 'France Football'.
Eric García also went viral on the networks 'thanks' to Vinicius
Another who went viral in the last few hours 'thanks' to Vinicius and his frustration over the Ballon d'Or was Eric García. Thousands of users on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok have shared a video of the Clásico played at the Bernabéu in April 2022 which, curiously, also ended with a crushing 0-4 in favor of Barça where the culé defender launched a premonitory phrase.
"You, next year Ballon d'Or. Ballon d'Or," Eric told Vini after the dispute over a ball. Two and a half years after that phrase, Madrid's '7' continues dreaming of the 'France Football' award, which this year was a balm for Barça's win in the Clásico on Saturday and, in the end, ended up being a fiasco of time not only for the Flamengo youth squad, but for all of Madrid fans.
