Will Neymar Jr. return to play with Leo Messi and Luis Suárez at Inter Miami? Gerardo 'Tata' Martino, coach of 'Las Garzas', clarifies it

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The football world is eagerly anticipating whether the trio that dazzled at FC Barcelona, composed of Leo Messi, Neymar Jr., and Luis Suárez, known as the 'MSN', will reunite once again. This possibility has gained strength by observing that both the Argentine forward and the Uruguayan have reunited at Inter Miami, with only the presence of the Brazilian missing to recreate that legendary trio.

Recently, this idea has gained even more traction. Why? Neymar, currently recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus tear in his left knee, is about to finish his contract with Al-Hilal, and it is still unknown whether he will renew with the Arab team, with which he has had minimal participation, potentially making him a free agent next summer.

Additionally, it is worth noting that Neymar recently acquired a beachfront property in Bal Harbour, near Miami Beach, Florida, for $26 million, where he plans to build a mansion. These actions have sparked speculation about the possibility of his arrival at Inter Miami, where he would coincide with other former Barcelona teammates like Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

'Tata' Martino weighs in on Neymar's potential move to Inter Miami

However, this reunion will not be as straightforward as it seems. Inter Miami coach, Gerardo 'Tata' Martino, shared his opinion on the matter prior to the match between Atlanta United and 'Las Garzas' in the MLS playoffs. When questioned about the topic, the former Barcelona coach highlighted the potential challenges of this union due to salary considerations.

"With Leo and the other guys (Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba) already here, it could happen. What I can't imagine is how it would be carried out if the league doesn't relax salary issues," Tata stated.

Despite everything, the Argentine coach reminisced about his experience coaching Neymar at Barcelona and did not hold back in praising the Brazilian magician's talent. "Being able to coach players of such caliber will always hold a very special memory for me," Tata remarked.
