Women's EURO 2025 finals draw: Groups and schedule set
The European teams already know their rivals in the fight for the title that will be played in Switzerland next summer
The draw for the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 finals took place on Monday 16 December at the Swiss Tech Convention Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The draw ceremony was hosted by Ian Wright and Annette Fetscherin, with the participation of European football figures such as Verónica Boquete, Leonardo Bonucci and Sami Khedira. The official mascot Maddli and the presentation of the official match ball added a festive touch to the event.
The 16 qualified national teams were divided into four groups of four teams each.
Draw and procedure
The draw took place with hosts Switzerland in position A1. The remaining 15 teams were classified according to the results of the league phase of the Women's European Qualifiers. The teams were drawn into four pots, and their position in the groups was determined at random.
- Pot 1: Spain, Germany, France
- Pot 2: Italy, Iceland, Denmark, England
- Pot 3: Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Belgium
- Pot 4: Finland, Poland, Portugal, Wales

- First matchday: 2–5 July
- Second matchday: 6–9 July July
- Third day: July 10-13
Knockout phase
- Quarterfinals: July 16-19
- Semifinals: July 22-23
- Final: July 27 at St. Jakob-Park in Basel
