The team started coming from behind in LaLiga, against Valencia in Mestalla (1-2). Robert Lewandowski, in the fifth added minute of the first half, equalized the score just before the break. Barça made its debut in Montjuïc against Athletic Club (2-1), a rival that is always difficult for the culés. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a nice mid-range shot. Sancet equalized with a penalty in the first half, but Lewandowski appeared again in the 75th minute to catch a loose ball inside the area and leave the 3 points at home.

Barça has suffered in its last visits to Vallecas and this season was no exception (1-2). Unai López put the hosts ahead at the start of the match, but Barça recovered from a weak first half after Dani Olmo came on at halftime. The man from Terrassa had a dream debut, scoring the winning goal in the 82nd minute with a remarkable finish. Pedri, in the 60th minute, had previously equalized the scores after completing a beautiful Barça collective play.

On the fourth day of LaLiga came the first exhibition of Hansi Flick's Barça. Valladolid was no match for a devastating team (7-0). The first high-risk visit for the Barça team ended in a rout. After the break, Dani Olmo, who had been 'wetting' for three consecutive days, and Pedri, closed the score against a Catalan team that was barely able to score with a goal from Stuani ten minutes from the end.

Barça suffered its first defeat of the season in a rough debut in the Champions League against Monaco (2-1). The early expulsion of Eric García conditioned a Barça team that, although they managed to tie in the 24th minute with a great goal from Lamine, ended up falling as a result of wear and tear due to a goal from George Ilenikhena in the 71st minute.

Hansi Flick opted for massive rotations and Osasuna punished a very disorganized culé defense in El Sadar. Ante Budimir and Bryan Zaragoza put the hosts ahead in the first half. Pau Víctor scored his first goal in LaLiga to bring Barça closer, but a penalty from Budimir and another good goal from Bretones sealed the culé defeat. Lamine, with a bomb, made up the result before the end.

Barça returned to Montjuïc for a key week in which Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were waiting. First it was time to face Seville and Barça never took their foot off the accelerator, obtaining a new 'little hand', the third of the season. Lewandowski (double, one penalty) and Pedri, once again, left the process resolved before the break. Towards the end, Pablo Torre closed the victory with his first two goals of the season, one of them from a free kick.

Three days later, Barça faced its 'black beast' in recent seasons and Raphinha dressed as a hero to dispel the ghosts of the past (4-1). The Brazilian opened the scoring before the minute of play and then appeared again in minutes 45+1' and 56' to unleash madness on Montjuïc. Lewandowski, in the 36th minute, had regained the lead for Barça after the partial equalizer scored by Harry Kane, after the initial 20 minutes of Bavarian dominance.

Barça once again scored a historic win at the Santiago Bernabéu (0-4), this time thanks to a perfect second half. Real Madrid fell into the offside trap a dozen times and Barça crushed the 'merengue' defense with a double from Lewandowski in just two minutes (54' and 56'), another bomb by Lamine from the right side and a remarkable finish from Raphinha, humiliating Lucas Vázquez and Lunin with a lob.
