The top scorers classification of the Champions League 2024/25 concluded after matchday 8 and, therefore, the group stage, without significant changes in the Pichichi table. Robert Lewandowski maintained his scoring lead despite not scoring against Atalanta in the draw at Montjuïc (2-2). The Polish striker finished the first phase with 9 goals, one more than Raphinha, who also failed to score against the Bergamasque team, although he did provide two assists to Lamine Yamal and Ronald Araujo to give the Catalans one more point in the table.

Behind the Barcelona offensive duo were Vinicius Jr., with 7 goals. Serhou Guirassy, for his part, also scored nine goals. The Guinean forward climbed several spots in the ranking thanks to his brace with Dortmund against Shakhtar (3-1), while Vini could not play with Real Madrid against Brest (0-3) due to accumulated yellow cards. Both Germans and 'merengues' made it into the TOP-24 and will compete in the 'playoff' in February for a spot in the round of 16.

Seven players finished the group stage with 6 goals

Further down the table were scorers like Erling Haaland and Viktor Gyökeres, with 6 goals. Both the Norwegian and the Swedish failed to score against Bruges (3-1) and Bologna (1-1), respectively, but they will also be in the playoffs in February. Those who secured their direct qualification to the round of 16 were Julián Álvarez and Antoine Griezmann. The Atlético de Madrid duo also finished the group stage with 6 goals. The Frenchman, in fact, scored a brace against Salzburg (1-4) to climb positions in the scoring table.

The other two forwards with 6 goals so far also managed to score on Wednesday, namely Jonathan David and Harry Kane. The Englishman did his part in Bayern Munich's victory against Slovan Bratislava (3-1), while the French attacker also took advantage of Lille's thrashing of Feyenoord (6-1) to net his sixth goal of the tournament. With 5 goals, the first phase of the Champions ended for Lautaro Martínez (Inter Milan), Vangelis Pavlidis (Benfica) and Santiago Giménez (PSV Eindhoven).
