Goodbye to the season? Serious injury to Florian Wirtz with Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen completed a week to forget on Saturday. For Bayer, the outlook cannot be more discouraging with their main star. Besides the impact of losing him for the final stretch of the season, the rumors about his possible departure do not cease. The player from Pulheim is the main target of Bayern Munich for the upcoming transfer market, but in the Premier League, there are also at least a couple of teams interested in him.

However, Leverkusen does not intend to make it easy for the '10' to leave. Recent rumors indicate a transfer for a minimum of 130 million euros, an amount practically impossible for the Bavarian team to cover. The German international is under contract until June 2027, and his market value has already reached 140 million. A long-term injury will undoubtedly negatively impact the forward's market plans.
