Aitana Bonmatí, excited and grateful to Barça after bathing in gold
Aitana Bonmatí has been crowned with the Ballon d'Or, in an emotional ceremony in Paris, to continue the dynasty of FC Barcelona in the award given by France Football and after the two consecutive victories of Alexia Putellas
As it was to expect , Aitana Bonmatí has topped like the winner of the Balloon of Gold 2023 to give him continuity to the command of the FC Barcelona in the trophy that delivers France Football and that in the last two editions had won Alexia Putellas (2021 and 2022). The midfield player dressed of star in the season 2022/2023 and was key so that the blaugrana won the League and Champions League, whereas it was vital for the Glass of the World of Spain.
The born midfield player in Sant Pere of Ribes has been celebrated in Paris after an exceptional course in which it was a key figure. It has recognised that is thrilled, proud and especially appreciated by all what has been able to achieve in this last year, highlighting all the work of the Barça and Spain that have carried him to be in the highest. Aitana has recognised that is very proud and took advantage of to leave clear that, if it did not go by all the collective successes, would not be where is right now: "I Am very proud to receive the Balloon of Gold tonight, has been an exceptional year to sportive level and although it treats of an individual sport, the football is a collective sport so it would like me extend the prize to all my mates, staff, workers of the Barça and of the selection. It is clear that without all the successes achieved this year I would not be here".
The player of 25 years has recognised that was very nervous by all what is him sucediendo: "I do not know if it has noticed me a lot but I am very nervous. I carry without sleeping a few days. Be here, in the greater gala of the world-wide football is a dream for me. Although I am a discreet person, as I say, be here is only and to value it a lot", aiming that "have the luck to be able to play in a big club as it is the FC Barcelona and in the selection also, where in both sides have to the best players at the side that they do me better each day".

The one of Sant Pere of Ribes was still in his batch of gratitudes to all the staff, highlighting the work of Jonatan Giráldez and highlighting that they expect to win a lot of more titles: "No only the best players, also the best staff, here is our trainer Jonatan.
