The Premier League and the Newcastle did official this Thursday the sale of the club to an investment fund of Saudi Arabia, and could be one of the richest of the continent
Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Chelsea FC, and now the Newcastle United. The club has announced in the afternoon this Thursday in official communiqué that, after going through the legal requirements of the Premier League, has sold good part of his actions to an investment fund of Saudi Arabia, through an agreement of operation that have enciphered in some 350 million euros.
PIF, PCP Main Partners and RB Sports & Half is the consortium that has done with the reins of the club after Mike Ashley, owner of the Newcastle in the last years, attained to close the sale of the institution. Of all the consortium, stands out the PIF (Public Investment fund Saudi), with enormous influences in the state of Saudi Arabia and that at the beginning of this year accumulated 3,3 trillion dollars.
