FIFA leaves Rubiales 'KO' for 3 years and he defends himself with a harsh statement

Finally, they have given to know the disciplinary consequences that will confront Luis Rubiales, ex-president of the Real Spanish Federation of Football, after the controversial incident in the final of the Glass of the Feminine World 2023, where besó to Jenni Beautiful against of his will. The FIFA, through his Disciplinary Commission, body that already had sanctioned to the exmandatario by 90 days, has imposed an additional punishment to Rubiales based in the article 13 of his Disciplinary Code. The body rector of the world-wide football has closed the file opened the past 24 August, basing in the article 13, that establishes sanctions for those that attack against the dignity or integrity of a person or group of people by means of words or pejorative or discriminatory actions. A decision with which the FIFA looks for "to reiterate his absolute commitment to respect and protect the integrity of all the people, and to watch because they respect the basic norms of the civic behaviour".

Luis Rubiales already has been notified of the decision and has 10 days to request a decision based and appeal in front of the Commission of Appeal of the FIFA. In his communiqué, Rubiales affirms that the proofs that back his innocence have to be considered and criticises the fault of impartiality and presumption of innocence by part of the FIFA. It urges to the public to take out his own conclusions and considers that it has committed an injustice in his against.
