From England is considering the possibility of not continuing using the VAR for the season 2024-25. The Wolves have presented this proposal to the Premier League, requesting the elimination of this tool for next summer. In front of this situation, the clubs of the English league will have to vote in his annual general assembly of the next month to arrive to an agreement on the future of the VAR in the English football.

What needs to be approved?
The clubs of the Premier League have the constitutional right to propose changes in the rules, and any proposal needs a majority of two thirds, that is to say, 14 of 20 members to be approved. By his part, the managerial board of the maximum category thinks that to delete the VAR is not the correct way to be followed, suggesting that when doing it would increase the mistaken decisions and would hit negatively the reputation of the Premier League.
