With the most recent news that the Premier League is considering to play the following season without the VAR, the president of the FIFA, Gianni Infantino, pronounced on the tool and ensured that they will implement changes to improve his use. The next 6 June, the clubs of the English league will have to vote in his annual general assembly to decide the future of the VAR in the English football. The teams of the Premier League have right to propose changes in the rules of the competition, although any proposal needs a majority of two thirds (14 of 20 members) to be approved.
In front of this, Infantino, in the Congress of the FIFA that celebrates this Friday in Bangkok, has announced the intention to develop and improve even more the VAR, of the cual has been a firm defender. "It has developed a more basic technology, with less cameras and, therefore, more affordable for all. The system already is in proofs". This system is similar to the that uses in the tennis: "The trainers of each team will be able to request the help of the VAR in two occasions", although it did not specify if it will be by party or each 45 minutes.
Similar to what does in the tennis
This improvement has a strong seemed with the 'eye of falcon' that implements in the tennis, where the players have the option to ask the use of the technology in the case that some present ball doubts on if it has gone in or no. "The players will be able to urge to his trainer to that it request the review. In the case that as a result of the review requested produce a change in the initial decision adopted by the referee, the team that have promoted the query will keep the two opportunities to ask the review of the played", concluded.
