FIFA, against of a European Super League

The FIFA has stepped against of the Superliga European that does to shiver to the Champions League and national competitions. The organism rector of the world-wide football, for the six confederations, has been very clear: they will not recognise the tournament, if it carries out, neither will allow to the players and clubs that contest it participate in competitions of the FIFA or UEFA, that is to say, yes participate in the Superliga, forget you of the World-wide and of the League of Champions or domestic Leagues.

The communiqué of the organism arrives after some days in which the idea to create the competition has taken a lot of value, after the visit of Florentino Pérez, president of the Real Madrid, to Turín to argue with Andrea Agnelli, maximum mandator of the Juventus and the Association of European Clubs, ECA, to argue new details of the hypothetical Superliga. In front of this, the FIFA was clear and reiterated once again "with firmness that such competition would not be recognised neither by the FIFA neither by the corresponding confederation. To all club or player involved in a competition like this, like consequence, no would allow him participate in any competition organised by the FIFA neither by his corresponding confederation".

The organism rector of the world-wide football, supported by the six federations (AFC, CAF, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA), has established that "according to the statutes of the FIFA and the confederations, all the competitions have to be organised or recognised by the competent organism to his corresponding level; that is to say, by the FIFA to world-wide level and by the confederations to continental level" and that, in this sense, the confederations recognise to the World-wide of Clubs, with his current and new format, "like the only world-wide competition of clubs, whereas the FIFA recognises to the competitions of clubs organised by the confederations like the only continental competitions of clubs".

Finally, the FIFA has remembered that "the universal principles of the sportive merit, the solidarity, the promotions and descents, and the subsidiariness are the base of the pyramid futbolística that guarantees the global success of the football and, therefore, are consecrated in the statutes of the FIFA and the confederations"

The 'big' want a Superliga

To fault of a back reaction to the communiqué of the FIFA, is not a secret that the Superliga is an idea that likes him to the most important teams of Europe by the big quantities of money that could ingresar by sponsorships and television rights. In fact, the FC Barcelona would participate in said tournament, after the ex president of the club, Josep María Bartomeu, announced in his last speech that had approved in the Board the participation of the blaugrana.

But the Barça is not the only team. The Real Madrid and the Juventus appear like maximum defenders of the Superliga and, in the last months, have joined other 'big' of Europe with the intention to participate in his foundation and organisation. It is the concrete case of the Liverpool and Manchester United, teams that would have achieved the bottoms to carry out it.
