UEFA extends its sanctions to Russia: Goodbye to its candidacy for Euro 2028

UEFA reported on Monday new sanctions against Russia. In addition to confirming the international suspension of the country's clubs, Russia loses the right to participate in the next Nations League and its candidacy to host the 2028 and 2032 Euros
The Executive Committee of the UEFA expanded the Monday the sanctions for Russia in the plane futbolístico international. The representative clubs of the Russian Federation of Football will follow separated of all the competitions organised by the UEFA and, besides, the country will lose the right to participate in the next editions of the Nations League and the Eurocopa Feminine of 2022. In this tournament, Portugal will occupy his place.
Russia was situated in the Group C of the Feminine Euro beside Low Countries, Sweden and Switzerland. The selected Russian had classified to the tournament after winning to Portugal in the 'playoff', but now the lusas will occupy his square in the tournament to make in England of the 6 to 31 July. In the case of the Nations League, the Russians will occupy the last place of the Group 2 of the League B, with which will descend to the place 16 of this league.
Of the same way, the selected Russian will follow separated of the eliminatory European for the Feminine World-wide Glass of the FIFA 2023, where already lost the two first parties. With this, the Group B will keep on being of five teams (Denmark, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Malta and Azerbaijan). Of the same way, the Russian clubs remain outside of all the competitions UEFA for the season 2022-23.
With this, Russia will obtain a coefficient UEFA of 4,333 points regarding the masculine clubs and 1,750 points for the feminine groups, the lowest index obtained in the last five seasons. In this sense, the UEFA ensured that "the lists of masculine and feminine clubs have reequilibrado in accordance with the principles established in the regulations of competition".
Goodbye To the candidatures for the Eurocopas of 2028 and 2032
The another 'stick' of the UEFA for Russia arrived with the cancellation of his candidatures to be headquarters of the Eurocopas of 2028 and 2032. Russia was headquarters of the World-wide Glass of the FIFA in 2018 and never has housed the final phase of a Euro. On the other hand, Hungary will occupy the square of Russia for the Eurocopa Feminine of Five-a-side football 2022, whereas Norwegian will replace him in the clasificatorios European for the World-wide Glass of Five-a-side football of the FIFA 2024. All the sanctions will be valid until 2023, except a new decision of the Executive Committee of the UEFA.
