The war between Russia and Ukraine follows having direct consequences in the world of the football. Weeks backwards, the FIFA and the UEFA announced in group the indefinite suspension in all his competitions of the Russian teams, are national or clubs. Now, the maximum organism of the European football has issued a communiqué in which it allows to the pertaining clubs to this conference, the signing of a maximum of two pertinent players of Russian clubs and Ukrainians of face to what remains for contesting in the continental competitions. "The Executive Committee of the UEFA decided today modify the regulations of the UEFA Champions League 2021/22, the UEFA Europe League 2021/22 and the UEFA Europe Conference League 2021/22, and allow that the clubs register a maximum of two new eligible players", explains the UEFA in the communiqué issued.
Besides, they clear that to be able to be inscribed, the agreements of the players had to be suspended. "The Executive Committee of the UEFA decided to include a disposal that allows to the clubs inscribe a maximum of two additional players, that were previously registered in a club affiliated to the Federation of Football of Ukraine or to the Union of the Football of Russia and whose agreements have been suspended" finalised the organism rector of the European football.
The rule applies in the feminine football
The masculine football has not been the only affected by the decision taken by the main organisms of the football. The feminine football also has seen wrapped in the conflict between Russians and Ukrainians. However, from the change of the rule executed the day of today by the UEFA, the pertaining players to Russian clubs and Ukrainians also will be able to be inscribed in the European competitions.
