Robert Lewandowski remains unstoppable this season with FC Barcelona. The '9' has reached 34 goals in 37 matches, more than any other scorer in the five major European leagues.
The rout of FC Barcelona against Real Sociedad (4-0) allowed Robert Lewandowski to continue improving his impressive offensive records with the azulgrana team in the 2024/25 season. In addition to solidifying his position as the top scorer in LaLiga with 21 goals, four more than Kylian Mbappé (17), the '9' also distances himself as the top scorer of the five major European leagues in all competitions.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) is currently the closest to the experienced Polish forward. The Egyptian leads the Premier League scoring table with 25 goals, but he has four fewer than 'Lewy' in all competitions (30) despite having played two more matches than the Barça 'killer'. Robert, on the other hand, maintains an average of 0.91 goals per game, after scoring 34 goals in 37 appearances with Hansi Flick's team.
Harry Kane and Mateo Retegui also do not match Lewandowski's records
In the Bundesliga, Harry Kane has the same number of goals as Lewandowski (21) but in three fewer matches, yet the Bayern Munich forward does not surpass the azulgrana '9' in the overall count. The English international has accumulated 29 goals in 33 matches across league, cup, and Champions League, five fewer than the Barça scorer. Further back is the top scorer of Serie A, Mateo Retegui. The 'star' of Atalanta also has 21 goals in his league, but has only scored 3 goals in the Champions League, totaling 24 goals.
And finally, the unexpected top scorer of Ligue 1, Ousmane Dembélé, appears as the top scorer in France with 18 goals and a total of 26 in 33 official appearances with Luis Enrique's team. The player from Vernon is having his best season after Kylian Mbappé's departure, but he is still far from the offensive production of the Polish 'killer'. Not for nothing, Robert remains as Salah's runner-up in the race for the Golden Boot, alongside Kane and Retegui and ahead of Erling Haaland, who is still far behind the Liverpool '11' with 19 goals.
