Bellingham has become the star of the Real Madrid-Espanyol match. The very serious insult directed at referee Munuera Montero has not gone unnoticed, becoming the most controversial play of the day.
The images have gone viral on the main social networks, clearly showing Bellingham addressing the referee after being cautioned in the 81st minute with a yellow card for protesting. These were the words of the Real Madrid player:
"you're a piece of shit", es decir "eres un pedazo de mierda"
In a dispute with Espanyol player Gragera, the Englishman complained from the ground that Munuera Montero did not signal anything and the protest ended with a yellow card. The subsequent insult must not have been heard at that moment by the referee, as he resumed play and did not send Bellingham off.
However, once the images have come to light and are in the public domain, the referees' committee is expected to act urgently and impose an exemplary sanction on the Real Madrid player for the seriousness of the insult.
