Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal's contributions were key to Barça's comeback against Celta (4-3). The attacking midfielder scored a goal and caused a penalty. The youngster provided an assist.
Barça took a giant step towards the LaLiga title with an epic comeback against Celta (4-3). Hansi Flick's team was down 1-3 in the 62nd minute, but again reacted in time to take the three points. Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal, this time as game-changers, led the culé reaction.
Flick rested Lamine for the first time this 2025 and the team missed his overflows on the right. Ferran Torres entered the starting XI for the Mataró native, while Fermín López did the same to accompany Pedri and Frenkie de Jong in midfield.
The 'Shark' responded to the manager's confidence with a great goal in the 12th minute, while the player from Huelva did not have his best afternoon against Celta. Before the hour mark, both came off for Lamine and Dani to revolutionize the culé attack.
Olmo's goal: the beginning of Barça's comeback
Just after the double substitution, Borja Iglesias's third goal would arrive, a goal that would have buried any team, but this Barça has enough character and football to reverse impossible matches for most.
Two minutes after the 'Panda's' 'hat-trick', a good collective play between Koundé, Lewandowski and Raphinha ended in a filtered pass from the Brazilian that Olmo transformed into 2-3 with a crossed shot, impossible for Guaita. It was the '20's' first contribution in the match, with his eighth goal in LaLiga.
Barça smelled blood and, with a frenzied Montjuïc, launched themselves for the equalizer. In the 68th minute, a perfect cross from Lamine from the right allowed Raphinha, with a header, to equalize the actions in six minutes of azulgrana siege. Yamal's assist shattered the Galicians' advantage.
The culés slowed down a bit in the final quarter of an hour, but in added time Dani Olmo reappeared. The attacking midfielder slipped between the center-backs and Yoel Lago, in his eagerness to recover the ball, ended up clumsily running him over.

Melero López turned a blind eye to the clear penalty, but Del Cerro Grande called him to review the play. Raphinha took charge of the penalty to seal the definitive 4-3 that puts Barça much closer to the championship.
In 31 minutes, Dani scored a goal, caused a penalty and only missed a couple of passes in 10 attempts (83 %). In addition, he recovered a couple of balls and shot twice at the rival goal.

Lamine reached 12 assists in LaLiga

Lamine, meanwhile, completed 18 of 22 passes (82 %) in the 31 minutes he was on the field. The Mataró native reached 12 assists in the tournament, which keeps him leader in the tournament with three ahead of Raphinha (9).
The Brazilian also added a goal pass, serving Olmo's goal that opened the door to the azulgrana comeback. Returning to Yamal's contribution in the match, the youngster created a goal opportunity, with 3 effective passes in the last third and 2 balls recovered.
He also won 3 of 6 individual duels, completing another pair of dribbles. Celta seemed to have the match under control, but the entry of the '19' and the '20' ruined the good work of Claudio Giráldez's team in the initial 60 minutes.
However, Lamine's imbalance on the wing and Olmo's good work alongside Raphinha on the edge of the area made the difference in favor of a Barça that, with six matchdays left until the end of the season, remains solid in the LaLiga lead.
