FC Barcelona - Betis: Confirmed Lineups - LaLiga 24/25

OFFICIAL: The starting lineups of FC Barcelona under Hansi Flick and Betis under Manuel Pellegrini for the match of matchday 30  of LaLiga 2024/25 are now confirmed. Barcelona faces a couple of important absences in their starting lineup for today's match against Betis:

With the aim of adding three points to secure LaLiga after Real Madrid's defeat, Hansi Flick put on the field the best he has available. Ronald Araujo will partner with  Pau Cubarsí in the center of defense due to the absence of Iñigo Martínez because of injury, while Gavi regains his starting position in midfield alongside Pedri and Frenkie de Jong. Lewandowski, for his part, returns to the forward line, while Ferran Torres will take the place of Raphinha in the attacking trio. The rest of the lineup will be made up of the coach's 'untouchables'.

• Starting XI: Szczesny (G); Koundé, Cubarsí, Araujo, Balde; Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Gavi; Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres, Lewandowski.
• Bench: Iñaki Peña (G); Ansu Fati; Raphinha; Pablo Torre; Andreas Christensen; Fermín López; Pau Víctor; Eric García; Kochen (G); Héctor Fort; Gerard Martín.
• Injured: Ter Stegen; Marc Bernal; Iñigo Martínez; Marc Casadó; Dani Olmo.
• Suspended: None.

Significant changes in the eleven that played against Atlético de Madrid in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals:

1. Ronald Araujo will form a central duo with Pau Cubarsí.
2. Gavi will replace Fermín López in midfield.
3. Ferran Torres will occupy the left wing, Raphinha is on the bench.
4. Robert Lewandowski returns to the center of the forward line.

Iñigo Martínez will not play due to a minor muscle injury in the glute of his left leg resulting from the strain from the last three matches. This physical setback will only keep him out of the match this Saturday against Betis.

• Ter Stegen, Marc Casadó, Dani Olmo and Marc Bernal are also absent due to long-term injuries.

Flick has come out with all his might to deliver a decisive blow to LaLiga. Ronald Araujo and Pau Cubarsí will form a central duo, while Gavi regains his starting position and will accompany Pedri and Frenkie de Jong in midfield. Finally, Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres and Lewandowski make up the attacking trio. Injured are Ter Stegen, Iñigo Martínez, Marc Casadó, Dani Olmo and Marc Bernal and due to technical decision Ansu Fati.
