FC Barcelona - Girona: Confirmed Lineups - LaLiga 24/25

OFFICIAL: The starting lineups of FC Barcelona under Hansi Flick and Girona under Míchel for the match of matchday 29 of LaLiga 2024/25 have been confirmed. Barcelona recovers several players, but faces several important absences in their starting lineup for the match against Girona today:

Due to the fatigue of some players and in view of the key match next Wednesday against Atlético de Madrid, Hansi Flick made several changes to his XI. Ronald Araujo will partner with  Iñigo Martínez in the center of defense, while Eric García returns to the starting position in midfield alongside Pedri and Gavi. Lewandowski, on the other hand, returns to the attack, while Fermín López will take the place of Raphinha in the offensive trident. The rest of the lineup will consist of the coach's 'untouchables'.

• Injured: Ter Stegen; Marc Bernal; Andreas Christensen; Marc Casadó; Dani Olmo.

Significant changes in the eleven that played against Osasuna on matchday 27 of LaLiga:

1. Ronald Araujo will form a central duo with Iñigo Martínez, Pau Cubarsí is on the bench.
2. Gerard Martín will give rest to Alejandro Balde in the left back position.
3. Eric García returns to the pivot role due to the discomfort of Frenkie de Jong.
4. Fermín López will occupy the left wing, Raphinha is on the bench.
5. Robert Lewandowski replaces Ferran Torres in the attack.

Dani Olmo will not play due to an injury to the adductor of his right leg sustained in the match against Girona. This physical setback is expected to keep him out for three weeks.
