FC Barcelona - Osasuna: Confirmed Lineups - LaLiga 24/25

OFFICIAL: The starting lineups of FC Barcelona under Hansi Flick and Osasuna under Vicente Moreno are now confirmed for the match of matchday 27 of LaLiga 2024/25.

In preparation for the return match of the Champions League round of 16 against Benfica, Hansi Flick made several adjustments to the starting eleven. Eric García returns to the center of defense to partner with Pau Cubarsí, while Gerard Martín will rest a Alejandro Balde who finished the match in Lisbon with an injury. Meanwhile, Marc Casadó regains his starting position in the pivot role and Gavi returns to the midfield alongside Dani Olmo. In attack, Ferran Torres will take the place of Lewandowski at the forefront.

Significant changes in the eleven that played against Benfica in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16:

1. Pau Cubarsí and Eric García form a central duo, Iñigo Martínez and Ronald Araujo are on the bench.
2. Casadó regains his starting position in the pivot role, Frenkie de Jong returns to the bench.
3. Alejandro Balde gives up his place at left back to Gerard Martín.
4. Gavi replaces Pedri in the midfield.
5. Ferran Torres substitutes for Robert Lewandowski.

The Barça returns to Montjuïc with a clear objective in mind. The azulgrana team, which remains unbeaten in 2025 with a record of 13 wins and 3 draws, needs to secure a victory to continue being the sole leader of LaLiga. With 57 points, the culés aim for a crucial win that will allow them to increase their lead in the standings over Atlético de Madrid (56) and Real Madrid (54), both rivals on Sunday against Getafe and Rayo, respectively.

However, aware of the importance of the upcoming match on Tuesday against Benfica and considering the fatigue of his team in Da Luz, Flick has made several rotations to manage workloads. Eric García and Pau Cubarsí will form a central duo and Gerard Martín returns to left back. Meanwhile, Casadó is back as the starting pivot and will partner with Gavi and Dani Olmo in the midfield. In attack, Ferran Torres will complete the trident alongside Lamine Yamal and Raphinha. Injured are Ter Stegen, Andreas Christensen and Marc Bernal  and due to technical decision Lewandowski.
