FC Barcelona - Osasuna: Confirmed Lineups - LaLiga 24/25

OFFICIAL: The starting lineups for FC Barcelona under Hansi Flick and Osasuna under Vicente Moreno have been confirmed for the match of matchday 27 of LaLiga 2024/25. Barcelona faces some important absences in their starting lineup for today's match against Osasuna:

Due to the tight schedule and the fatigue of some players from the international break, Hansi Flick has introduced several changes to his XI. Eric García will partner with  Iñigo Martínez in the center of defense, while Gavi returns to the starting position in midfield alongside Pedri and Frenkie de Jong. Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres, on the other hand, will take the place of Raphinha and Lewandowski in the attacking trio. The rest of the lineup will consist of the coach's 'untouchables'.

• Starting XI: Szczesny (G); Koundé, Eric García, Íñigo Martínez, Balde; Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Gavi; Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, Ferran Torres.
• Bench: Iñaki Peña (G); Cubarsí; Araujo; Lewandowski; Ansu Fati; Pablo Torre; Fermín López; Pau Víctor; Kochen (G); Héctor Fort; Gerard Martín; Alexis Olmedo.
• Injured: Ter Stegen; Marc Bernal; Andreas Christensen; Marc Casadó.
• Resting:  Raphinha.
• Suspended: None.

Significant changes from the eleven that played against Atlético de Madrid in matchday 28 of LaLiga:

1. Eric García will form a central duo with Iñigo Martínez, Ronald Araujo and Cubarsí are on the bench.
2. Frenkie de Jong returns to the pivot position due to the injury of Marc Casadó.
3. Gavi regains the starting position in the attacking midfield.
4. Dani Olmo will replace Raphinha on the left wing.
5. Ferran Torres will take Robert Lewandowski's place in the attack.

Raphinha will not play because he returned late to the squad after international commitments with Brazil. Coach Hansi Flick explained: "He has a long flight and it's not the best way to recover". In his place, Dani Olmo will occupy the left winger position.

• Ter Stegen, Christensen, Marc Casadó, and Marc Bernal are absent due to long-term injuries.

Flick has gone with the best he has available to regain sole leadership in LaLiga. Iñigo Martínez and Eric García will form a central duo, while Gavi returns to the attacking midfield and will accompany Dani Olmo and Frenkie de Jong in midfield. Finally, Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres make up the new attacking trio. Injured are Ter Stegen, Andreas Christensen, Marc Casadó and Marc Bernal  and due to technical decision Raphinha.

Osasuna Lineup

• Starting XI: Sergio Herrera; Areso, Catena, Herrando, Juan Cruz; Moncayola, Iker Muñoz, Pablo Ibáñez; Arnaiz, Raúl García y Aimar Oroz.
