Hansi Flick confirmed the list of 23 FC Barcelona players called up for the match against Leganés, corresponding to matchday 31 of LaLiga EA Sports 2024-25

Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona returns to action in LaLiga EA Sports 2024-25. On this occasion, Hansi Flick's team is preparing to face a very uncomfortable opponent on matchday 31 of the local competition, such as Leganés. The 'Azulgrana' team will seek to extend their impressive unbeaten streak, which already reaches 23 in all competitions. In addition, the Catalan team has gone 11 matchdays without losing in LaLiga, with 9 wins and 2 draws.

Lega, on the other hand, is experiencing a very complicated present, although it is one of the few teams that has managed to defeat Barça this 2024-25 season. In the match on matchday 17, at Montjuïc, the 'cucumber growers' team won by the narrowest of margins thanks to a goal from Sergio González in the 4th minute. Since then, Borja Jiménez's team has only been able to win 2 matches in their last 13 league outings.

For Barça, the list of 23 players called up does not present any major novelties. The 'Culés' are coming off a thrashing of Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday (4-0) in another brilliant performance at a collective level and, above all, from their attacking trident. The 'LRL' destroyed the Germans with a double from Robert Lewandowski and other goals scored by Lamine Yamal and Raphinha. Looking ahead to the visit to Butarque, there are no new absentees in the 'Azulgrana' team, with the exception of the four known ones.

FC Barcelona arrives at the match against Real Betis with four players out due to injury.

  • Injured: (#1). Marc André ter Stegen; (#17). Marc Casadó; (#28). Marc Bernal; (#20). Dani Olmo.

In this section, it is worth mentioning the case of Dani Olmo. The player from Terrassa has returned to training this week with the rest of the squad, but has not yet received medical clearance. In principle, the attacking midfielder could be available next Tuesday for the rematch against Dortmund, only if he proves to be one hundred percent. Otherwise, his return will take place on matchday 32 of LaLiga, at home against Celta de Vigo. The other three absentees are long-term (Ter Stegen, Marc Bernal and Marc Casadó).
