Hansi Flick's Barcelona were beaten by Real Sociedad (1-0) but maintain a 6-point lead over Real Madrid in the league table
FC Barcelona put an end to their winning streak on matchday 13 of LaLiga EA Sports 2024/25. The Blaugrana team visited Real Sociedad at Anoeta and were defeated by the minimum (1-0). However, they maintain the sole lead (33) with a distance of 6 points despite Real Madrid's victory (27 points and one game less) against Osasuna by 4-0.
The 'txuri-urdin' took the three points thanks to a goal from Becker. For its part, Madrid managed to turn around its dramatic present thanks to a hat-trick from Vinicius Jr. and another goal from Jude Bellingham, while Atlético de Madrid remains in third place after beating Mallorca by the minimum at Son Moix (0-1) with a goal from Julián Álvarez.
Villarreal, who also have a game in hand, remain in fourth place after beating Alavés (3-0), and behind them are Osasuna despite their defeat at the Bernabéu. Below the Rojillos are Athletic Club (6th) after drawing 1-1 against Valladolid and Betis (7th) equalled them on points after drawing against Celta (2-2)
Barça remain leaders of LaLiga despite defeat
Real Sociedad moved up to eighth place after their controversial win against the Catalans, while Mallorca and Girona are in ninth and tenth place in the table, with Míchel's men beating Getafe 0-1.
Celta moved up to eleventh place and Rayo are twelfth despite falling to Las Palmas (16th). Sevilla is in thirteenth place despite being beaten by Leganés (14th), while Alavés is fifteenth.
On the verge of the last positions is Getafe (17th), with Espanyol, Valladolid and Valencia occupying the relegation places. The duel between Pericos and Ches was postponed by the DANA.
