The sixth matchday of LaLiga EA Sports 2024-25 leaves Hansi Flick's Barça as the sole leader of the standings with 18 points, four more than their closest pursuer, Real Madrid, and six behind Atlético de Madrid
FC Barcelona finished Matchday 6 of LaLiga EA Sports 2024-25 in first place in the table, being the only team to have made it to the top of the table with six wins in six games. Hansi Flick's men lead the table with 18 points, 22 goals for and 5 against.
Real Madrid are second after beating Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabéu (1-4), with goals from Vinicius Jr., Dani Carvajal, Rodrygo and Kylian Mbappé from the penalty spot. The white team has 14 points, with 13 goals for and 3 against.
Athletic Club de Bilbao is in third position with 13 points, although they have played one more game, while Atlético de Madrid is fourth with 12 points after drawing with Rayo Vallecano (1-1). Finally, the defeat against Barça has left Villarreal in fifth place in the table with 11 points.

Hansi Flick's team once again put on a show in LaLiga. The Blaugrana thrashed Villarreal (1-5) at La Cerámica, adding their sixth consecutive victory and staying at the top of the Primera División table.
