GREAT MATCH OF THE MIDFIELDER
Kessié, in 'president' mode: Xavi 'returned' him to his ideal position
On the same day that his future is once again a topic of conversation, Franck Kessié left a very outstanding performance in the visit of FC Barcelona to Vila-Real so that the absence of Sergio Busquets would not be 'noticed'
Franck Kessié was the big novelty of Xavi Hernández in his alignment to visit The Ceramics. It had tested it the past weekend, after the injury of Sergio Busquets, and decided to give him continuity. The bet did not fail him and the costamarfileño surpassed the expectations in which it has been, probably, his best presentation like Barcelona.
It went back to present like the big leader that already had showed to be in Saint Siro. It was conclusive from the medullary, had a good placing and knew to combine with his mates, accompanied of the tarpaulin in the taking of decisions that caused that, sorpresivamente, in the terrain of game no extrañara at all to the Barcelona captain.
Part of the 'fault' of his good performance had it the reencontrarse with the position that had carried him to turn into 'The President' in Saint Siro, before recalar in the Barça. It positioned in the left-handed side of Frenkie of Jong and went an adjust that it allowed to Kessié win confidence and do more decisive. From there, it went a machine to win duels and gave space so that Balde exerted more functions of attack.
The 'new' position of the midfield player allowed, also, that when the team went to defend, could 'commission' of Juan Foyth that, if it is not very watched, can be a torment in the band. Between Kessié and Balde commissioned , especially in the first-half, to counter his effect. At the same time, with Kessié more 'anchored', Pedri had more opportunity to free in the field.
Silent leader
It explains, of some way, the big party of the Tenerifean, the one who finish being chosen like the 'MVP' of the night. Kessié, finally, comported like a silent leader and the attendant of the work 'dirty'. It improved his image and presence in the field, but also improved to which were surrounding him.
