LaLiga confirms the schedule of FC Barcelona-Atlético de Madrid

This Wednesday morning has been a period of several confirmations. On the one hand, the Africa Foot Academy in Mali confirmed a double signing by Barça. On the other hand, LaLiga published the official schedule for matchday 18, the last one to be played in 2024, which will face FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid.

Matchday 18 of LaLiga will be played the weekend before the start of the Christmas holidays. The sporting events will take place between Friday, December 20 and Sunday, December 22. As for Barça, they will face Atlético de Madrid on Saturday, the 21st, at 9:00 p.m. at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Montjuic.

The official LaLiga account published this Wednesday morning, specifically, at 11:35, the schedules of all the matches that will be played that weekend. In addition to the match between the Catalans and Colchoneros, which is, without a doubt, the best match of the day, there are other clashes that could be very interesting.

However, before reaching said confrontation, Hansi Flick's pupils still have 7 games ahead of them, 5 in the league and 2 in the Champions League. The closest event occurs this Saturday, when the Barça team will visit the ABANCA Balaídos stadium to play against RC Celta de Vigo, a team with a playing style very similar in concepts to the culé.
