The Real Madrid will have to face consequences for the serious accusation made against Spanish refereeing on February 3rd. In a letter sent to the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) with a copy to the Higher Sports Council (CSD) after the events in the match between the merengue team and RCD Espanyol on matchday 22 of LaLiga EA Sports (1-0), it was asserted that the refereeing system was "completely discredited" and it was pointed out that it had reached a level of "manipulation and tampering of the competition that could no longer be ignored".
LaLiga has taken measures to sanction the conduct of the white team in relation to this matter. As reported on 'El Partidazo de Cope', the organization presided over by Javier Tebas has filed a complaint against Real Madrid before the Disciplinary Committee of the RFEF for the aforementioned letter sent by the Chamartín club to the Federation, questioning the refereeing body.
LaLiga, which has not overlooked the attitude of Real Madrid towards the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA), filed the complaint on Monday and is said to have the support of the vast majority of the clubs in the top tier of Spanish football. It is worth noting that a summit was recently held between the RFEF, LaLiga, the clubs, and the CTA, where the discontent against the 'viking' team for their constant harassment of the refereeing community was made evident.
LaLiga fulfills its warning to Real Madrid
It was precisely the president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, who, after this summit, stated: "We (LaLiga) will definitely file a complaint, just as we did in the past with Real Madrid Television. We will look into the complaint, whether it is against the club, the person who signed the letter, or the board. We are analyzing the issue legally, but obviously these types of notes cannot be tolerated because they contain falsehoods or half-truths that seek to influence matters that cannot be manipulated. They have lost their minds". This warning to Real Madrid has finally materialized.
"These types of notes cannot be tolerated because they contain falsehoods or half-truths that seek to influence matters that cannot be manipulated"
Now, according to various sources, once the complaint is received, allegations will be requested from Real Madrid and an investigation period will begin. If an inquiry is opened, it could result in a sanction for the merengues.
