LaLiga expects to attract more talents in the U.S. like Sergiño Dest

LaLiga, in collaboration with the North American agency ISL, has launched LaLiga Next, a platform that expect serve to provide to players of North American football that have between 13 and 18 years. The youngsters will have the opportunity to show his talent and begin his professional career in some of the teams of LaLiga.

Said project, was born like part of a plan of action conceived by authorities of LaLiga and Relevent Sports Group to contribute to the growth of the football in United States, but also expect to contribute to the preparation of his players oriundos of United States once arrive the appointment of the World-wide 2026.

"The football in United States is turning into a world-wide referent in the production of talent: Dest, Puilisic, Musah, Tyler Adam, Reyna are only some of the names that show it. All these players have in common his international experience and LaLiga Next goes to help to that many other American youngsters with talent have this opportunity", explained the Co-founder of ISL, Marc Segarra.

With this initiative, the directors of LaLiga look forward to to promote and facilitate the arrival to Spain again young talent from United States. Until the moments, already there are several players drafted from this country in distinct clubs of Spain, between them: Sergiño Dest and Konrad De la Fuente in the Barcelona and Yunus Musah in Valencia.

Between 40 and 60 chosen

By his part, the VP of Strategy & Business Development of LaLiga North America, Nicolás García Hemme, explained that they expect to help to a lot of youngsters of the North American nation to turn into footballers of first level. "The aim of LaLiga is to contribute to the development of the American talent, providing to the players an only opportunity to teach his potential, an experience to improve his game and, especially, a way so that they make his dream to turn into players of professional football and a day can represent to his country in a World-wide", said.

The referred initiative, will start between 21 June and on 13 July in different cities of United States in where that expect thousands of participants. There, the representatives of LaLiga will select between 40 and 60 American players to participate in a Showcase in Madrid during 10 days. The selected will train under the methodology of LaLiga and will play different parties with the aim that the reclutadores of the main Spanish clubs measure his skill in the field to determine if they can be fichados.

Association from the 2018

LaLiga And Relevent Sports Group have an association at least from the 2018. In the referred country, have set up several projects to support the basic football.
