Barça is closer to the Liga title after the victory against Leganés. These are the 7 rivals of the Catalans on the road to the title!
FC Barcelona took another giant step towards their 28th Liga title thanks to a narrow victory in Butarque (0-1). Leganés once again made things very difficult for Hansi Flick's team, but an own goal by Jorge Sáenz in the 48th minute was enough for the 'culés' to move further ahead in the lead with a 7-point advantage over Real Madrid, although the 'blancos' must play on Sunday in Vitoria against Alavés.
In that sense, there are seven matchdays left to play in the tournament (21 points), including the Clásico of matchday 35 in Montjuïc, the second weekend of May (Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th). Next week (Saturday), Barça hosts Celta (4:15 PM), while Madrid will play again on Sunday against Athletic, but at the Santiago Bernabéu (9:00 PM).
In between, both teams will have to play the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, against Borussia Dortmund (Wednesday) and Arsenal (Tuesday), respectively. The 'culés' have practically settled their tie (4-0), while the 'merengues' depend on a miracle to come back after being thrashed in London (3-0).
Barça will have 4 home games to seal the championship
In total, Barça has 4 home games and 3 away games left to play. On matchday 33, Hansi Flick's team hosts Mallorca (Tuesday 22nd at 9:30 PM), four days before the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid (Saturday 26th at 10:00 PM at La Cartuja). After the cup final, the 'culés' could play the first leg of the Champions League 'semi-finals' in the last week of April.
Returning to LaLiga, Barça's next rival will be Valladolid at the José Zorrilla (Sunday, May 4th at 2:00 PM), a week before the Clásico against Madrid on matchday 35. The last rivals of the 'azulgrana' team will be Espanyol (away), Villarreal (home) and Athletic (away), the latter two rivals in full fight to get into the next edition of the Champions League.

Madrid, on the other hand, will visit Getafe on matchday 33 (Wednesday, April 23rd at 9:30 PM), three days before the Copa Clásico. The next 'merengue' rival will be Celta at home (Saturday, May 3rd at 9:00 PM), a week before facing Barça again in Montjuïc.
Finally, Carlo Ancelotti's team will have a minimal, but important, advantage heading into the end of the season, as they will face two of their last three rivals at the Bernabéu. Mallorca (home), Sevilla (away) and Real Sociedad (home) complete the 'blancos' calendar.
