This Sunday, LaLiga condemned the racist behavior of a group of Real Madrid fans against the FC Barcelona player, Lamine Yamal, during the Clásico played on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabéu (0-4).

Through a statement, the employers reported that they will send a formal complaint, with evidence about the screams and gestures at the Barcelona winger and other players of the Barça team, to the Hate Section of the Information Brigade of the National Police.

In various videos shared by users of the 'X' social network and TikTok, several 'Merengues' fans can be seen insulting Lamine after the youth player scored the 0-3 partial goal in the 77th minute. "Fucking black man," " Puto moro!", "Go to the traffic light to sell tissues!" and "Fucking shit! were some of the grievances launched by the Bernabéu stands against the culé youth squad.

The National Police will continue the investigation

In that sense, the case will pass into the hands of the Coordinating Court Prosecutor of the Hate and Discrimination Crimes Unit of the State Attorney General's Office, Miguel Ángel Aguilar García, who will be in charge of conducting the investigation to apply the corresponding sanctions.

"LaLiga strongly condemns these events that occurred at the Santiago Bernabéu and remains firm in its commitment to eradicate any type of racist behavior and hatred inside and outside the stadiums. There is no place in sport for this scourge," the employer's statement said. .

The CSD will also go after those who insulted Lamine in the Classic

Similarly, the Higher Sports Council (CSD) also spoke out against the racist insults to Yamal in the Classic. The government entity regretted what happened in a match of such importance where there is no place for "expressions of violence, racism, xenophobia, hatred or intolerance."

"As has happened on previous occasions with other incidents, the events that occurred during the course of this match will be analyzed by the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sports," details the message shared by the CSD.

For this reason, the permanent commission of the Council, made up of the Ministry of the Interior, the National Police Corps, the Civil Guard, the Royal Spanish Football Federation, LaLiga and other professional leagues, together with the State Attorney General's Office, will hold a meeting this Monday to determine the sanctions to be imposed against those responsible for such regrettable conduct.
