LaLiga No longer will carry more the sponsorship of Santander after finalising the next season. Both parts have communicated that there will be renewal and already LaLiga works to achieve to his new companion
LaLiga And Bank Santander have announced with one accord put end to the current agreement of sponsorship that the banking entity had with the competition from the season 2016/2017. The change, that will be effective in the season 2023/2024, obeys to the conjoint decision of both entities to explore new forms of collaboration, so much in common, as with third explains the communiqué. In this sense, LaLiga will announce in the weeks to come the novelties that affect to the competition from the season 2023/24.
In these six seasons of alliance has built a relation between LaLiga and the Bank Santander that has trascended of the mere official sponsorship of the competition. They have been years of narrow collaboration between both teams, with a very high level of understanding and rapport that have allowed to promote projects in common so successful like LaLiga Promises (football sub-12) or the main sponsorship of the competition of LaLiga.
One of the most iconic projects of this collaboration is, definitely, LaLiga Genuine Santander. So much it is so Bank Santander, that has been one of the main engines of this initiative that initiated in the season 2017-18, and LaLiga are working jointly in a model to continue sponsoring this competition that has supposed that LaLiga, together with his Foundation, was the first league of professional football of the world that have a competition for footballers with intellectual disability.
In words of the president of LaLiga, Javier Thebes, "appreciate the confidence that have deposited in LaLiga during these years and are convinced that we will continue collaborating in future projects with Bank Santander for the growth and promotion of both marks". Antonio Simõis, regional Manager of Europe and Adviser Delegated of Santander Spain. It underlines: "we Are loved of our collaboration with LaLiga during all these years and encouraged to explore other roads of collaboration".
Both entities have developed a narrow and beneficial relation during the six seasons in which they have collaborated together achieving big attainments that go further of what to the advertising presence refers and that have supposed strategic projects of national and international development, in digital surroundings and to level experiencial for the fans of the football.
International work
It fits to stand out initiatives like LaLiga Global Network, that allowed to LaLiga, in collaboration with Bank Santander and Universia, give the definite step in his internationalisation with the creation of the network of delegates of LaLiga Global Network that today has a total of 44 present professionals in 41 international markets.
