Even on his least 'brilliant' night, Lamine Yamal's impact on FC Barcelona is unquestionable. In the Catalans' 5-1 thrashing of Sevilla, the Barça star was unable to knock down Nyland's goal despite his team's superiority. However, he managed to add his name to the statistics of the match with an assist to Pedri for the second goal of the Catalans.
The Mataró native controlled a long pass from Robert Lewandowski on the right wing in a great way and, after facing the rival area, left the ball ready for the Canary Islander in the crescent so that he could send his spectacular shot into the back of the net. An assist that, in addition to ensuring him the sole lead in the table of top assists in the league championship, has left him one step away from equalling a historic record held by Lionel Messi.

And with this assist, Lamine became the first Barcelona player to provide six assists after his first 10 games of a LaLiga season since the Argentine star in the 2014/15 season, although at that time 'Lio' registered seven assists.
