Leganés - FC Barcelona: Confirmed Lineups - LaLiga 24/25

OFFICIAL: The starting formations of Hansi Flick's FC Barcelona and Borja Jiménez's Leganés for the matchday 31 of LaLiga 2024/25 are now confirmed. Barcelona makes a couple of changes for the duel in Butarque this Saturday.

With the aim of adding three points that allow them to seal LaLiga after Real Madrid's defeat, Hansi Flick put the best he has available on the field. Ronald Araujo will accompany Iñigo Martínez in the center of defense, giving Pau Cubarsí a rest, while Eric García regains his place in midfield alongside Pedri and Fermín López. Lewandowski, meanwhile, remains in the forward line alongside Lamine Yamal and Raphinha in the offensive trident. The rest of the lineup will be made up of the coach's 'untouchables'.

Significant changes in the eleven that played against Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals:

1. Ronald Araujo will form a central partnership with Iñigo Martínez.
2. Eric García will accompany Pedri and Fermín López in midfield.

Ferran Torres and Gavi will wait for their opportunity on the bench, while Frenkie de Jong and Pau Cubarsí will have a day of rest. Ansu Fati, meanwhile, could have minutes again towards the end, after replacing Lamine in the 87th minute on Wednesday.
