Marcos Alonso showed his face in Cádiz after more than five months without playing for Barça
Marcos Alonso was the big surprise of the FC Barcelona XI against Cádiz at the Nuevo Mirandilla. He was in charge of 'relieving' the suspended Joao Cancelo on the left wing
The FC Barcelona went out with an alignment very little conventional against the Cádiz, taking advantage of to do rotations between the two 'final' of the Champions League against the Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals. Xavi Hernández was conscious that it had to give rest to the players 'indisputable' so that they arrived to tope physically to the duel of the Tuesday (21:00 hours CEST).

Marcos Alonso goes back to play with the Barça
Xavi surprised with the titularity of Marcos Alonso, the one who had happened careless in this 2024. The ex of Chelsea had not played from the past 7 November of the past year in the defeat against the Shakhtar Donest in the Champions League. His future, at stake
It does not be necessary to overlook that Marcos Alonso is exhausting the last months of agreement with the Barça (30 June) and everything seems to indicate to that will abandon the club when it finish the season. Between the physical problems and the little regularity that has had, the sportive direction does not pose the possibility to renew his agreement and will open him the door. It did not have a lot of options, because Joao Cancel and Alejandro Balde were by in front of him and foresees that Álex Fence in will return to the club this summer after his cession with the Raise.
