The first match between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona has already been confirmed. Ancelotti and Hansi Flick will face each other in the first EA Sports LaLiga Clásico, on Saturday 26 October at 9:00 pm at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
The match on matchday 11 will pit the two best teams in Spanish football against each other, returning to the historic Saturday night slot, prime time. In recent years it had always been played in the 4-4:15 pm time slot, even at 1:00 pm.
On the other hand, Madrid-Barça will coincide that same week with a Champions League matchday. Real Madrid will play Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday at the Bernabéu and Barcelona will face Bayern Munich on Wednesday at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium. The European dates will benefit the white team, which will have one more day of rest.
