To fault of official confirmation this Tuesday in the General Assembly, the Commission Delegated of the Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF) has defined the honorarios that will perceive the Spanish arbitration in the First and Second Division of the season 2023/24. As it was foreseen, there will be an increase to the emolumentos of the referees, although the mount exact still has not been agreed.
What yes is clear is how much has to credit each club to LaLiga to cover the honorarios of the arbitration. As it has confirmed 'Sportive World', the referee's cost by party will be of 48.323€ for the local team. LaLiga Has 38 days, 19 of them in condition of venue, by which the FC Barcelona and the 19 remaining teams will have to credit a total of 918.317 euros.
The cost of the arbitration also includes variables
In this sense, the precise Catalan newspaper that the cost could see increased slightly when it implant the offside semi-automatic (SAOT). For the Second Division, the cost of the arbitration will be of 28.629€ by party for a total of 601.209€ that also can increase when it install the offside semi-automatic. Of equal form, the mount will increase for the teams that contest the 'playoff' of promotion.
The own will apply for the First RFEF, category in which it keeps the Barça Atlètic, although the montos will be inferior to the ones of the Second Division. With this, the FC Barcelona will have a near cost to the million and half of euros adding the parties that contest the first team and the filial in League. The wages of the referees, another 'serial' for the RFEF
The current agreement establishes an annual gross wage around the 120.000 euros for the referees at a rate of €4.500 by party in First Division (€2.000 in Second). In the case of the VAR, the mount is around the €2.200 in First and €1.000 in Second. For the 2023/24 negotiates from the 300.000 annual euros, by some 140.000 euros in Second. Next Friday 30 June it expires the valid agreement between the RFEF and LaLiga, valid from the season 2018/19.
