Javier Thebes, president of LaLiga, has summoned to the clubs for this Thursday 22 April to a meeting, whose subject will be the new Superliga European, competition that explains between his conjoint founders to the Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona and to the Athletic of Madrid, in the middle of the conclusive rejection of the association of the professional football Spanish and of the UEFA, in addition to the FIFA.
However, of agreement to the information advanced by the newspaper Sport, any of the mentioned clubs was summoned for the appointment. The sportive media, signalled that it treats of an informative meeting with the controversial Superliga European like main subject, where are summoned 39 of the 42 clubs of First and Second division of Spain.
The striking of the action, of not calling to the big of LaLiga Santander, is that in the case of the team rojiblanco coincides that Miguel Ángel Gil, general director of the Club, is first vice-president of LaLiga. According to the sources of Sport, in the meeting does not have foreseen take some type of sanction against the entities involved in the new competition.
