Nico Williams lit up social networks by congratulating Lamine Yamal for his great goal against Real Madrid (0-4). The Basque winger shared an image of the Barça youth player with a brief, but affectionate message

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Lamine Yamal received a very special congratulation from his ideal partner in the Spanish National Team after the great goal that FC Barcelona's '19' scored against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday. The last to join in the praise of Mataró was Nico Williams, who dedicated a viral publication to him on the social network 'X'.

"Yamal my bro," wrote the Athletic Club forward along with two emoticons that, curiously, had the Barça colors. The one from Pamplona accompanied the text with a photograph of Lamine's celebration at the Bernabéu, pointing his number to the 'merengue' stands. The post already has almost 900 comments and more than 146,000 likes.

The gesture set off a sector of the Madrid fans, who chose to utter regrettable racist insults against the culé youth player. Luckily, Yamal ignored the hostility from the stands and the match ended without incident and with a great celebration from the entire Barça squad, along with the technical staff.

Nico Williams, always attentive to the latest news about Lamine and Barça

Nico's gesture is not new for Lamine and Barcelona. The Athletic winger has dedicated many messages of affection to Mataró despite the rumors about his departure from the Bilbao team, leaving aside the controversy to express his affection for who he considers his best friend in the Spanish National Team.

Likewise, the youngest Williams does not hide his admiration for the Barça team, his ideal destination for the future. Although his transfer failed this summer due to Barça's financial problems, the one from Pamplona will wait, again, for a culé offer in 2025.

By then, the Catalan entity will already have the necessary solvency to amortize the transfer of the Basque '11', whose clause should not suffer adjustments for the next summer market. In San Mamés they know that it will be practically impossible to retain their star much longer and, finally, it will be the footballer himself who decides when and where to leave.
