Robert Lewandowski has managed to position himself as the MVP of the month of October in LaLiga, thus consolidating the culé hegemony in this award

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The assets of FC Barcelona continue to dominate the awards for LaLiga EA Sports 2024-25 for the month of October. After it was confirmed that Hansi Flick won the award for Coach of the Month and Pedri González as the best U23 player, the third Barça player competing for an award this month has now been crowned as the winner: Robert Lewandowski.

'Lewy' has emerged as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of a month filled with goals. In the three matches that Barcelona played in October, against Deportivo Alavés (0-3), Sevilla (5-1), and Real Madrid (4-0), Robert Lewandowski left his mark in each game, scoring a total of seven goals. The Warsaw native particularly shone in the match against the 'babazorro' team, where he scored a hat-trick, but he also contributed with a pair of doubles against the Seville team and the Madrid side, establishing himself as the clear 'Pichichi' of the competition.

Who did Robert Lewandowski surpass in this voting?

In this contest, Lewandowski managed to surpass Vinicius Jr. from Real Madrid, Mikel Oyarzabal from Real Sociedad, Antoine Griezmann from Atlético de Madrid, and Álex Berenguer from Athletic Club. Furthermore, this award increases the supremacy of FC Barcelona, as in August Raphinha won the award and in September it was Lamine Yamal, thus completing the trio of awards for a front line that is dominating both the local tournament and international football.

It should be noted that this is the third time Robert Lewandowski has won an award of this kind in LaLiga EA Sports. The first was in 2022, also in October. After that, he would not lift the award again until February 2024.
