Osasuna visits FC Barcelona this Saturday in Montjuïc with two potential absences in their XI. One, already confirmed and very significant, is that of Aimar Oroz, due to injury.

Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona hosts Osasuna this Saturday in Montjuïc (21:00 CEST) with the obligation to add another victory to maintain the lead in LaLiga EA Sports 2024/25. Opposing them will be a 'rojillo' team that is always challenging, even though they are not having their best moment in 2025. Additionally, Vicente Moreno's side is preparing to face the visit to Catalonia with two absences in their squad.

One of them is goalkeeper Aitor Fernández, who could not participate in the last training session before the trip to Barcelona this Friday due to a muscle discomfort. The goalkeeper has only seen action in the Copa del Rey, being a starter in the four matches played by the team. The other absence, much more noticeable, will be Aimar Oroz, who suffered a muscle tear in the biceps femoris of his left leg last matchday. The 23-year-old player will be out of action for about three weeks.

Aimar Oroz, absent against Barça at his best moment

Undoubtedly, Oroz's absence will be a significant loss for Vicente Moreno's side. The midfielder had just scored a brace against Valencia the previous matchday (3-3), bringing his tally to 5 goals in 29 matches (2,283 minutes) this season. The '10' had also been left out of the squad against Celta (loss 1-0) due to a physical discomfort, which had been his only absence in LaLiga 24/25 so far.

In this sense, the 'rojillo' team loses a key piece in their scheme just before another tough visit. They have not added three points since matchday 22, against Real Sociedad (2-1), which has been their only victory in the tournament this 2025. In 8 matches, the team has 5 draws and 2 losses, although one of their draws was at home against Real Madrid (1-1). In the first round, Barça lost in their visit to El Sadar (4-2) in what was their first league defeat of the season.
