Calendar of FC Barcelona

OFFICIAL: The starting lineups of FC Barcelona under Hansi Flick and UD Las Palmas under Diego Martínez for the match of matchday 25 of LaLiga 2024/25 have been confirmed.

In view of the tight schedule ahead, Hansi Flick made several adjustments to the starting eleven. Eric García  returns to the center of defense to partner with Pau Cubarsí, while Jules Koundé will take the right-back position instead of Héctor Fort. Meanwhile, Marc Casadó regains the starting position in the pivot role and Fermín López will complete the midfield alongside Pedri. The rest of the lineup will consist of the 'untouchables' of the German coach.

  3. Casadó regains the starting position in the pivot, Frenkie de Jong returns to the bench
  4. Koundé returns to right-back in place of Héctor Fort

For Barça, the visit to Las Palmas comes at a great time, after four consecutive victories in the tournament. The team is unbeaten this year, with only a couple of draws (1-1 against Getafe and 2-2 against Atalanta) in twelve appearances across all competitions. In the previous match, the culés defeated Rayo in Montjuïc (1-0) and are looking to add three points to extend their streak in the league and maintain the leadership.

However, aware of the tight schedule, Flick has made several rotations to distribute the workload. Eric García and Pau Cubarsí will form the new central duo and Jules Koundé returns to right-back. Meanwhile, Casadó is back as the starting pivot and will partner with Fermín López and Pedri in the midfield. In attack, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Lewandowski are untouchables. Injured are Ter Stegen, Andreas Christensen and Marc Bernal  and due to technical decision Ansu Fati.
