Setién warns: "We needed one more week to be in good condition"

Next Saturday 13 June -that is to say, in less than a week- will restart LaLiga Santander​ after three months without any party. Quique Setién, trainer of the FC Barcelona, spoke for the official means of the club culé on the return of the competitions, with hardly two weeks of margin after having been able to begin the trainings of collective form.

In the first place, the technician santanderino considered that the physical state of his players is good in relation with the little work that has been able to do during the last months: "The team is quite well by the work that have done". But, on the other hand, it regretted to have not been able to have more time before going back to play. "We had needed a week more to be really in conditions", said.

Setién Sees to the staff with a very good mentality to face the competitions after so much time without playing. "All the players are with many win and very motivated to play", said, adding that "I see to the team with a point of special motivation. I suppose that it happens in all the groups". On the trainings, besides, said that "it has come us well because the footballer goes tiring. It has been different to what have lived other years of his career".

The return of the League will be like a species of pre-season, but of course will not be able to reserve so much the players due to the fact that what will be at stake will be official competitions with five changes at most. "The normal in a pre-season is to play parties and dosificar the minutes and now will be different. We will see as they are the parties and the situation of each player, since each one is different", commented.

The Cantabrian trainer is conscious of the need to win parties, but sees to the team very focalizado to mental level and with win to surpass obstacles. "We think that we have to win all the parties if we want to be champions", said, adding that "we are in a good mental disposal and already will see how go developing the parties and the difficulties that put us the rivals".

"We will miss the stimulus and the support of the public, that has a big influence.
